Raggiera is an original geometric wood artwork handcrafted from individually cut and arranged pieces of wood, creating a dramatic composition that radiates outward from a central point.
Warm natural wood tones are contrasted with crisp white and touches of golden wood. Repeating chevrons draw the eye toward the center before extending outward again, giving the piece a sense of symmetry, movement and architectural rhythm.
The design is precise, but the material remains unmistakably natural. Knots, grain patterns and subtle variations in tone interrupt the geometry just enough to ensure that no two pieces could ever be identical.

Geometry Meets Natural Wood
At the center of Raggiera, four sections converge to create the focal point of the composition.
From there, lines radiate outward through repeating angles and contrasting bands of wood.
The precision of the pattern is balanced by the unpredictability of the material. Grain changes from one board to another. Knots appear unexpectedly. Slight variations in color reveal the individual pieces used to build the artwork.
It is this contrast—order and imperfection—that gives Raggiera its character.
Made Piece by Piece
This is not a printed pattern or a surface treatment.
Every line visible in the composition is created by an individual piece of wood that must be measured, cut, finished and positioned as part of the larger design.
The process is deliberately slow.
As the individual pieces come together, what begins as a collection of boards becomes a single geometric composition.

Designed and handcrafted at Palazzo di Pietra Studio in Sicily, Italy, Raggiera brings together contemporary geometric design and traditional woodworking.
Natural variations in wood grain, knots, texture and tone are celebrated rather than concealed. These characteristics ensure that every finished Raggiera is genuinely one of a kind.
